Who is this project for?
The AgriTech Solutions project is designed to cater to multiple target groups, each playing a crucial role in achieving the project’s objectives and ensuring its successful implementation. The target groups for this project include:
– Agricultural Schools from Partner Associations: These schools are the primary target group. They are direct beneficiaries and participants in the project, involved in curriculum updates, teacher training, and student projects. The project aims to empower these schools with innovative agricultural technologies and sustainable practices to enhance their educational offerings. By focusing on agricultural schools from partner associations as the primary target group, the AgriTech Solutions project leverages the collective strength and reach of these associations to effect meaningful and widespread changes in agricultural education.
– VET Students in Agricultural Studies: The primary beneficiaries of this project, these students will gain direct exposure to innovative agricultural technologies and sustainable practices through the updated curriculum and hands-on projects. The project aims to enhance their practical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities, preparing them for successful careers in the agricultural sector or for further education.
– VET Teachers and Educators: This group is pivotal in delivering the revised curriculum and facilitating the PBL projects.
The project targets teachers for professional development, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge in PBL methodologies, innovative agricultural technologies, and sustainability. This ensures they are well-prepared to guide and support students throughout their learning journey.
– Local Farmers and Agri-tech Companies: Through student-led projects like community gardens, this group will benefit from sustainable agricultural practices and innovations developed by students. The project aims to engage with local communities to promote sustainable farming methods and foster a broader understanding of sustainable agriculture’s importance.
– VET Institutions and Agricultural Education Policymakers: These stakeholders are crucial for the dissemination and scaling of the project’s outcomes. By showcasing the success and impact of the “AgriTech Solutions” project, the goal is to influence broader curricular reforms and policy decisions that prioritize sustainability and innovation in agricultural education across the EU.
– International VET Partners: Through the transnational collaboration and conference component, the project aims to engage VET institutions from both project countries, fostering cross-border exchange of knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions in agricultural education.
