The activity unfolds through key phases:
– Strategic Planning & Refinement – A transnational meeting where partners refine the PBL framework based on initial feedback and best practices.
– Development of a PBL Training Program – A modular training curriculum designed to equip educators with essential PBL strategies tailored for agricultural education.
– Educator Training Sessions – A five-day hands-on program where selected VET educators will engage in interactive workshops and collaborative exercises, gaining practical experience in implementing PBL in their teaching.
By strengthening educators’ expertise in PBL, this initiative fosters a dynamic and student-centered learning environment, preparing future agricultural professionals for innovation and sustainability.
Activity 3: Advancing Agricultural Education through Student-Led Innovation Projects
This initiative represents the culmination of the AgriTech Solutions project, bringing together the skills, knowledge, and methodologies acquired throughout the program. The activity empowers vocational education and training (VET) students to take the lead in developing innovative agricultural solutions, applying Project-Based Learning (PBL) to address real-world challenges in the sector.
The process unfolds in three key phases:
– Strategic Planning & Coordination – A transnational meeting where partners finalize project guidelines, prepare logistics, and coordinate the upcoming student engagement activities.
– Development of Student Projects – Under the mentorship of trained educators, students form teams to design and implement 10 unique innovation projects focusing on sustainable farming, precision agriculture, and technology in crop and soil management.
– Showcasing Innovation at a Transnational Event – Students will present their projects in Serbia, engaging with educators, industry experts, and stakeholders from North Macedonia and Serbia, fostering cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange.
By integrating hands-on experience with cutting-edge agricultural concepts, this activity enhances students’ problem-solving abilities, creativity, and technical skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future of agriculture.
