Background
Within the framework of the AgriTech Solutions: Innovative VET for Sustainable Agriculture project with r. number 2024-1-RS01-KA210-VET-000244168, funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union, the activity 3.3.Presentation of student projects at a transnational event is being implemented.
The main objective of this project is to advance vocational education and training (VET) in sustainable agriculture through the introduction of project-based learning (PBL), focusing on sustainable and technologically advanced agricultural practices, inclusiveness and accessibility for all students. This project strives to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications, thus equipping students with the necessary skills to deal with modern agricultural challenges.
Aim of the activity
The transnational event aimed to showcase student-led projects to a wider audience, including stakeholders from both Serbia and North Macedonia, encouraging cross-border cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Presentation of student projects at a transnational event is organized in the period from 12-14 December 2025 at the Secondary School “St. Trifun” with the student’s home in Aleksandrovac, Serbia. The transnational event is attended by stakeholders – students, teachers, industry professionals and policy makers from Serbia and North Macedonia. This event facilitated the exchange of ideas, best practices and potential partnerships between stakeholders and succeeded in fostering transnational cooperation and networking.

The event was attended by over 100 visitors from North Macedonia and Serbia.
Activity Description
This activity provided a presentation of 10 student-led projects, each addressing specific challenges in the agricultural sector. These projects incorporated sustainable practices, precision agriculture, and digital technologies, demonstrating students’ ability to apply their learning to create solutions to real-world problems.
Through this activity, students demonstrated increased engagement in their education, driven by the opportunity to work on meaningful real-world projects.
Problem-solving, teamwork, project management, and technical competencies specific to agriculture improved significantly.
Educators who led student projects as mentors were able to solidify their expertise in project-based learning methodologies. Their successful mentoring in this activity served as a practical application of their PBL training, advancing their pedagogical skills and confidence in facilitating student-led learning.

The presentation of the projects took place according to the school schedule obtained by drawing lots the previous day.
The projects were presented to the Evaluation Committee for Student-Led Projects Focusing on Innovative Solutions in Agriculture, composed of:

After all presentations were completed, the Commission proceeded to individually evaluate each project according to previously established criteria: innovation, applicability of the solution, quality of presentation and teamwork.
The members of the Commission emphasized that:
- All teams showed a high level of preparedness and creativity.
- The projects offer real solutions to current challenges in agriculture in both countries.
- Digitalization and the ecological approach in most solutions were particularly emphasized.

The Central Commission is proud to state that the project objectives have been fully met. These young innovators have proven that agriculture is no longer just a traditional branch, but a modern field forengineering and creativity. Their enthusiasm and the expertise of their mentors are the strongest guarantee that the path to sustainable agriculture is already paved.
With this event, AgriTech Solutions set a new standard for what modern vocational education should look like – innovative, connected and future-oriented.
The event ended with a joint socializing and awarding of awards.
